This brief was based on the Radio 4 program called Short Cuts and I choose one with the title ‘Let’s get lost’. It features a girl who likes to get lost in different places and experience the world from this perspective. So I decided to go on my own adventure and placed my hidden messages around Birmingham in case there are other people like me and the girl in the Radio Program and would wonder around places looking for signs.
The biggest challenge with this brief was to capture this almost melancholic and quite voice in a big crowd therefore the small stickers and the nice quotes of the Radio program. In theory, the experiment would create a small community of like-minded people who found the stickers and would ask them to place their own signs around places they have visited.
The GoPro video shows my experiment traveling from Coventry to Birmingham hiding these messages and even had a conversation with a security guard. :D At the end, I have created a box with the printed photos of my experiment to keep them as memory.
